Why choose Triumphal Tour?
Because… we are the best!
But rather than take our word for it, we invite you to discover all the good reasons to choose us on our “Why us?” page. There you will find everything that makes the difference and renders the Triumphal Tour experience truly unique.
What time do your tours begin?
Our tours run at carefully chosen times, so that you may discover Paris in the finest conditions.
Daytime tours begin at 10 am. Should you wish to start earlier in the day, we invite you to contact us before booking. We will do our utmost to accommodate your request.
Our “by night” tours begin at 6 pm, to reveal Paris at the hour when the city lights up and unveils all its magic.
We recommend being ready a few minutes before departure time, so as to enjoy your experience to the full.
Can I create my own route?
Yes. At Triumphal Tour, every escapade is designed as an exclusive, personalised experience.
While all our tours adapt to your wishes and interests, our Signature Tour is the formula best suited to creating an entirely bespoke itinerary. Whether you wish to discover the great monuments of Paris, explore more secret neighbourhoods or celebrate a special occasion, we design a unique route with you.
Our team is also on hand to advise you and design an itinerary that perfectly matches your expectations, for an unforgettable Parisian experience.
Do you offer hotel pick-up and drop-off?
Yes. Triumphal Tour offers pick-up and drop-off at your hotel, residence or any other address within central Paris, for a seamless, fully personalised experience.
Pick-up or drop-off in the inner or outer suburbs may also be arranged, subject to feasibility and to a request made before booking. Depending on the location, a surcharge may apply.
In which languages are your escapades narrated?
Our escapades are narrated in French and English by our rider-guides.
Passionate about Paris and its history, they tailor their commentary to the language of your choice, for an experience as enriching as it is convivial.
If you have a particular request regarding language, do not hesitate to contact us before booking. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Are your tours safe?
Yes. The safety of our passengers is our absolute priority.
All Triumphal Tour rider-guides are experienced motorcyclists, holders of a motorcycle licence, with a thorough knowledge of Parisian traffic.
Our routes are designed to favour comfort, safety and the discovery of Paris at a pleasant pace. The speed limits in force in the capital (30 km/h or 50 km/h depending on the area) are strictly observed, and our rides generally proceed at a moderate pace, suited to traffic conditions and to the quality of the experience.
Furthermore, our vehicles are regularly serviced and insured in accordance with the regulations in force for the carriage of passengers.
Do you provide the equipment?
Yes. To ensure your comfort and safety, Triumphal Tour provides all the equipment you need for your ride, including approved helmets and protective gloves, as well as blankets and waterproof ponchos depending on the weather.
All that remains is to enjoy your experience aboard our sidecars to the full.
Must I wear a helmet?
Yes. Helmets are compulsory for all passengers, in accordance with the regulations in force.
Triumphal Tour provides an approved helmet for every participant. To guarantee impeccable hygiene, our helmets are cleaned and disinfected daily, and single-use liners are available before departure.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is no obstacle to the experience. At Triumphal Tour, rides go ahead in light rain or passing showers, which are generally short-lived in Paris.
To ensure your comfort, we provide all the necessary equipment: waterproof ponchos, approved helmets with protective goggles, and gloves.
Our sidecars are perfectly suited to letting you enjoy your discovery of Paris to the full, whatever the weather.
Ride your Movie! Because Paris reveals all its charm in the rain, too.
Can I cancel if it rains?
Triumphal Tour's services go ahead whatever the usual weather conditions. As our activity does not depend on the weather, rain is not grounds for cancellation. In the event of showers, waterproof ponchos are provided to ensure your comfort.
For cancellations more than 5 days before the date of the service, Triumphal Tour will refund 90 % of the sums paid. The remaining 10 % covers booking processing fees, bank charges and administrative costs incurred.
For cancellations 5 calendar days or fewer before the date of the service, no refund can be granted and the full amount of the service remains due to Triumphal Tour.
Are you insured?
Triumphal Tour holds professional insurance suited to its activity, including public liability cover for material damage and bodily injury that may occur in the course of our services, in accordance with the terms of our insurance policy.
Our vehicles are also insured for the carriage of passengers, so that you may enjoy your escapade with complete peace of mind.
Triumphal Tour cannot, however, be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal effects or valuables belonging to participants. We therefore recommend keeping your personal belongings under your supervision throughout the tour.
Can I ride or hire your sidecars?
No. Triumphal Tour sidecars are not available for hire and may not be ridden by participants.
All our experiences are conducted exclusively with a professional rider-guide, specially trained to handle our vehicles and to accompany our guests.
What is the maximum number of people per sidecar?
Each sidecar can carry up to 2 passengers, in addition to the rider-guide.
One passenger sits in the sidecar body, while the other rides behind the rider on an individual seat fitted with a grab handle, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the tour.
If your party numbers more than 2 people, no problem: simply book several sidecars. You can then enjoy the same experience while staying together along the whole route, each sidecar being ridden by a professional rider-guide.
Can two children share the sidecar body?
No. For safety reasons and in line with our insurance obligations, only one passenger is permitted per seat, whatever their age.
When two passengers take part in a tour, one sits in the sidecar body, while the other rides behind the rider-guide on a separate seat fitted with a grab handle, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the experience.
What is the minimum age for a sidecar tour?
To ensure the safety of all participants and comply with the regulations in force:
Children aged 4 and over may sit in the sidecar body. Children aged 8 and over may ride at the back of the motorcycle, behind the rider-guide.
Our rider-guides take care to adapt each passenger's seating to ensure maximum comfort and safety throughout the experience.
Can I gift a tour to a loved one?
Yes. An escapade with Triumphal Tour makes an original, memorable gift, ideal for discovering Paris differently.
Two options are open to you: book directly in the name of your guest or guests by entering their details at the time of booking — we will then take care of giving them the finest possible experience on the day of their tour — or offer a gift voucher valid for the tour of your choice. The recipient can then contact us to arrange the date and time of their tour, subject to availability.
Should you like guidance in choosing the most suitable tour or gift voucher, our team is at your disposal to advise you.
Are pets allowed in the sidecars?
Yes, under certain conditions. Small animals are welcome aboard our sidecars, provided they travel in complete safety.
They may be carried in a suitable pet carrier or, depending on their size and temperament, settled at the passenger's feet in the sidecar body.
To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, we invite you to let us know about your pet at the time of booking. We can then confirm the feasibility of the service and advise you on the best travel conditions.
